Shootings of Batman are suspended because Pattinson got coronavirus

British actor Robert Pattinson, who plays the role of Batman in the new film comics, fell ill with coronavirus, according to the Vanity Fair on September 3.

Earlier in the studio Warner Bros. announced that the shooting of the new film by Matt Reeves has been suspended, but did not specify which of the film crew revealed an infection.

“One of the participants in the Batman production gave a positive result on COVID-19, it will be isolated in accordance with established protocols. Filming has been temporarily suspended,” the studio said in a statement.

Interviewers familiar with the situation confirmed that we are talking about Pattinson.

Production of a new film about Batman was put on pause in March because of the situation with the coronavirus in the world. Filming resumed just a few days ago in London.
