Six military killed in crash of an Air Force helicopter in the Philippines June 24

A Philippine Air Force (PAF) S-70i Black Hawk helicopter crashed. None of the six people on board survived, CNN reported on June 24.

The crash happened Thursday night north of Manila. The helicopter was carrying three crew members and three military personnel.

“No survivors have been found so far. The crew members’ identities will be released as soon as their families are properly notified. We mourn the loss,” the agency said.

It is noted that the search for the plane began after it failed to return to its station at Clark Air Base in Pampanga province.

In January, seven people were killed in the crash of a helicopter of the Philippine Air Force. There were two pilots, two crew members and three passengers aboard the helicopter, all of whom died.
