Six people injured in explosion of unknown device in Ukraine

Six people, including a four-year-old child, were injured in the explosion of an unknown device in the town of Kamyanets-Podilskyi in the Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine. This was reported on Thursday, July 15, on the website of the national police of the country.

It is noted that the explosion took place in the evening that day on Razvadovsky Street. According to the preliminary version, a grenade exploded.

“As a result of the explosion six people were injured, including a four-year-old child. All of them were hospitalized in Kamyanets-Podilsky city hospital and are currently being treated by medics,” the report reads.

The suspect in the explosion of the device has been detained. According to preliminary information, the man was in a state of alcohol intoxication.

Now an investigation and operational group is working at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

In late December, it was reported that the explosion of an unidentified device occurred near one of the restaurants in the Obolonsky district of Kiev, the windows and facade of the building were damaged.
