The American company PepsiCo plans to sell the drink Driftwell, which should help those who suffer from insomnia due to stress. This was announced on September 15 by CNBC TV channel.

It is assumed that the drink will appear on sale in the first quarter of 2021. It is reported that Driftwell consists of water, a natural amino acid L-theanine, which increases the body’s stress resistance and energy reserves, as well as a tenth of magnesium. The taste of the drink will be the same – blackberry and lavender.

It is noted that the development of the beverage began even before the pandemic.

Euromonitor International estimates that water-based drinks sales in the U.S. in 2019 amounted to $2.97 billion. This year, this figure is expected to grow by at least 5%.
