Soul singer Bill Weathers died

American soul singer Bill Withers died died at the age of 82. His family reported it.

The singer died on Monday, March 31, in Los Angeles, reports BBC News. His family didn’t give any reason for his death.

Weathers was born in 1938. After school, he joined the Navy and served there for nine years. After demobilization, he worked as an installer and recorded songs with his own funds. Even after his composition Ain’t No Sunshine became popular and brought him the first award “Grammy”, he continued to work in the factory because he considered the success of random, and the music industry is fickle.

Wither’s last album was released in 1985, but many of his songs have become classics and are still performed to this day. His works have been performed by other musicians including Mick Jagger, Barbra Staisand, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake. Weathers’ songs have been performed in movies, including American Beauty and Notting Hill.
