Dragon cargo spacecraft was successfully brought to the Pacific Ocean. It completed a month-long mission to the International Space Station (ISS), the private company SpaceX reported on its Twitter page.
The spacecraft left the station on Tuesday morning, and its return to Earth lasted just over five hours. It delivered about two tonnes of cargo, including scientific work and equipment from the ISS.
Dragon is the only unmanned ship capable of delivering materials from the ISS to Earth. In December, the head of SpaceX Ilon Mask said that the company will launch for the first time the Crew Dragon ship with the crew on board to the ISS no earlier than spring 2020.
