DPRK leader Kim Jong-un appeared in public for the first time in 20 days, Renhap agency reported on May 2.
The leader of North Korea appeared at the opening ceremony of the Sunchkhon Fertilizer Plant, indicated the Central Telegraph Agency (CTAK) of the DPRK.
“Dear Supreme Leader, Comrade Kim Jong-un personally cut the ribbon symbolizing the completion of construction by taking part in the ceremony,” it was reported.

It was noted that Kim Jong-un missed the ceremony to mark the 108th birthday of his grandfather Kim Il-sung for the first time in eight years.
The South Korean Daily NK wrote that Kim Jong-un had undergone heart surgery. After that, a number of American and Japanese media outlets quoted anonymous sources as saying that the DPRK leader was in grave condition. It was noted that he was either in a coma or had died.
