Surprise from the Queen and a “soccer” cake: how Prince George celebrated his birthday

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest heir turned eight years old on July 22. On this occasion, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a new portrait photo of the birthday boy, in which he looks a lot like his father, according to many fans of the royal family.

What George’s birthday is remembered for, Us Weekly insiders said, “He’s having a great time because school is on vacation. Kate and William surprised him with a football-themed cake. He got lots of great gifts – a wildlife explorer’s kit and a cool watch!”

The young prince is a big soccer fan and is an Aston Villa fan along with his dad. With his parents, George attended two England games at Euro 2020, which ended in victory for the Italians.

“The Queen called Prince George at Zoom to wish him a happy birthday. She sent him a lovely gift, which was a surprise. The baby adores his great-grandmother,” the informant added. He also noted that Charlotte, 6, and Louis, 3, made “adorable cards for their brother.
