SWAT at the U.S. Embassy in Greece was hit with Molotov cocktails

Police officers guarding the American Embassy building in Athens were attacked by protesters June 3, reports Skai.

The security forces were thrown stones and Molotov cocktails. This happened at a certain point as the protesters approached the building.

At first, the action, which involved more than one thousand people, was relatively quiet. But a group of protest marchers behaved aggressively, which, having equaled itself with the law enforcement agencies, began its attack.

There is information that one of the bottles almost flew to the building, reaching the yard of the diplomatic mission. The police, who first took the building into a ring to keep the crowd away, used tear gas after the situation escalated.
