Former UFC lightweight champion T.J. Dillashaw shared his opinion on Conor McGregor’s broken leg in his fight with Dustin Poirier.
“I don’t understand how Conor broke his leg,” Dillashaw said on the Food Truck Diaries podcast. – My nutritionist says it’s because of weight loss and improper replenishment of lost minerals in the body. Anyway, I don’t know… It’s something I don’t understand at all. Even if I kick a metal pipe with my foot, I still wouldn’t break a bone. I just can’t imagine breaking my leg with a kick.
Dillashaw is confident: even if McGregor had an injury in camp, his bone wouldn’t break like that.
“I DO NOT KNOW, MAN. HE (CONOR MCGREGOR) IS DIGGING HIMSELF A HOLE RIGHT NOW. KEEP POSTING THESE VIDEOS, MAKING EXCUSES, LOOKING LIKE AN IDIOT. I WANT TO BACK THE BOY NOW BECAUSE HE IS AT HIS LOWEST POINT. I DIDN’T WANT TO ENDORSE HIM WHEN HE’S AT THE TOP. I WANT TO BACK HIM NOW BECAUSE HE IS AT AN ALL-TIME LOW AND WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR THE SPORT. BUT HE’S MAKING IT DIFFICULT. HE LOOKS LIKE AN IDIOT. “
On July 10, Conor McGregor lost by TKO to Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 264. T.J. Dillashaw fights Cory Sandhagen on July 24 at UFC Vegas 32.
