Irish Dublin and Spanish Bilbao won the right to host the finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2024 and 2025, respectively. It was reported by the press service of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
Dublin and Bilbao were to host some of the games of the European Football League postponed to the summer of 2021, but city authorities decided not to organize games of the tournament because of the epidemiological situation.
Dublin was to host three Group E games, which were eventually moved to St. Petersburg, and one meeting of the 1/8 finals, which was held in London. Bilbao was unable to host the other three games of the same group, as well as the 1/8 finals game, all held at the Olympic Stadium in Seville.
Due to the postponement of the UEFA Europa League games, UEFA granted Dublin and Bilbao the right to host the final games of the Europa League.
Thus, the 2022 Europa League final will be held in Seville, 2023 in Budapest, 2024 in Dublin, and 2025 in Bilbao.
