The cost of European COVID-19 vaccine will be less than €10

The cost of the coronavirus vaccine developed by French pharmacological corporation Sanofi and British company GSK will be less than €10. This was told on Saturday, September 5, by the head of the French division of Sanofi Olivier Bojillo.

According to him, the corporations are currently studying the amount of all production costs that will be incurred in the coming months, said the top manager in a conversation with France Inter.

Bozhiyo added that the French will receive the vaccine at the same time as Americans and residents of other European countries. “In the summer we signed a contract with the Americans, at the same time it was done with the Europeans and the British,” he explained.

100 million doses of the vaccine will be sent to the USA, 300 million – to Europe. U.S. President Donald Trump promised the Americans the availability of locally produced vaccine from November 1.

On August 11, Russia registered the world’s first COVID-
