The EU passed a resolution on certificates for travel after vaccination

The European Parliament has adopted a resolution setting out the conditions for the application of a “green” certificate to facilitate travel within the European Union during a pandemic for citizens who have been vaccinated. The vote was broadcast on the European Parliament website.

The document will contain information on vaccination with drugs approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the World Health Organization (WHO). Countries will also have the opportunity to decide whether to accept vaccination certificates for drugs not yet approved by these organizations.

The certificate is urged to be free of charge. It can be issued in paper or digital form.
