After the news of pregnancy, 30-year-old Princess Eugenia continues to perform her royal duties. She and her friend Julia De Boynville visited the charity organization The Anti-Slavery Collective, which helps victims of slave trade.
The visit was timed to the Anti-Slavery Day. It is celebrated on October 18. Eugenia and Julia talked both with the staff of the organization and with the victims, who made pots of flowers especially for them. Honorable guests were incredibly touched by the brave stories of former slave victims – many of them had been brutally treated for decades.
The Anti-Slavery Collective provides people with shelter, as well as legal and psychological assistance, helps to find jobs and housing, gives access to education.
In addition, Eugenia also participated in an online conference and discussed the problems of the most vulnerable groups of women who risk becoming victims of slave traders.
It should be reminded that the pregnancy of Princess Eugenia became known at the end of September. Buckingham Palace’s official installation account said that Jack Brooksbank and his wife are expecting the birth of their first child in early 2021.
