The first international flight landed in Wuhan after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic

The first passenger plane in seven months, performing an international flight, landed on Thursday, September 17, in Wuhan, China, which was interrupted due to a coronavirus pandemic.

According to Xinhua agency, the plane of T’way Airlines, flying from Seoul to Wuhan, landed at the airport of Chinese city at 10:48 local time (5.48 Moscow time). It is noted that all passengers who arrived in Wuhan were sent to special hotels, which will be held a two-week quarantine.

Earlier, on September 14, the U.S. Department of State changed the recommendations for Americans to visit China in the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, earlier the danger level of trips to China was assessed as the highest – “Do not go”. Now the American authorities reduced it to “Reconsider the trip”.

At the same time, many institutions in China have resumed their work, including kindergartens and schools.
