The first prisoner died because of the coronavirus in the U.S

The first prisoner previously diagnosed with a new coronavirus died in a US prison.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, 49-year-old Patrick Jones, who was serving his sentence at Oakdale Prison in Louisiana, complained about a long cough on March 19. The prisoner’s coronavirus test came back positive.

On March 28th, a man died. It is noted that he had chronic health problems. Jones was serving a sentence for possession of narcotic substances with intent to distribute.
