Authorities of Enrico County (Virginia, USA) detained the head of the right-wing Ku Klux Klan organization for hitting protesters, according to Monday, June 8, local edition of Henrico Citizen.
According to him, Harry Rogers, 36, is under investigation and is charged with premeditated bodily harm, property damage and assault.
“The defendant <...> is a recognized Ku Klux Klan leader and propagandist of Confederate ideology. We are investigating whether hate crime charges are appropriate,” says prosecutor Shannon Taylor.
According to the newspaper, the incident took place on Sunday night. Then Rogers drove a car into a crowd of protesters, which resulted in one man being injured.
