Actor Jean-Paul Belmondo died at the age of 88. It was announced by Agence France-Presse on September 6.
The cause of his death was not specified.
Belmondo was born in 1933 in France in the family of a Parisian sculptor Paul Belmondo. He made his film debut in 1957 in “Moliere” but the episodes with his participation were cut just before the release of the picture.
