Negotiations between political advisers of the leaders of the “Norman Four” came to an end in Berlin. This was reported by the Russian Embassy on Friday evening, September 11.
Norman Format Summit was not even discussed at the meeting in Berlin, there are no grounds for it, told journalists deputy head of the Russian presidential administration Dmitry Kozak, writes TASS.
There were no breakthroughs at the meeting. According to him, all the issues could not be agreed upon at the meeting.
As Kozak added, the parties exchanged opinions on all settlement issues in Donbass and on implementation of the Minsk agreements. But not all the issues have been agreed upon.
The date of the new meeting of political advisors is not known yet.
Kozak arrived in Berlin on Friday morning. The negotiations were held at the Office of the Federal Chancellor of Germany.
The day before it became known that the mediation of the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia allowed to avoid escalation of the situation in Donbass and to reach agreement on investigation of ceasefire violations by Ukraine.
