The speaker of the House of Representatives spoke out against debates of Trump and Biden

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, opposed the electoral debates between the incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump and the Democratic Party presidential candidate Joseph Biden.

According to her, she does not think that the current president corresponds to the image that “at least someone associates with the truth, data and facts”. Pelosi also expressed her fear that Trump would act unworthy during the debate.

The speaker suggested holding separate events for each candidate to answer questions. However, Biden himself, after Pelosi’s statement, said he would like to hold a debate. In an interview with MSNBC he pointed out that he would like to be the person who “right on the stage during the debate gathers and points to the facts.

The Republicans officially nominated US President Donald Trump for a second term on August 24.

Last week, former vice president of the USA Joe Biden was confirmed by delegates from the Democratic Party. Trump believes that Biden will be able to win at the presidential elections only through their falsification.
