The U.S. claimed the existence of a Russian armed “matryoshka” satellite

The United States said that there is a Russian “satellites-matryoshka” in space orbit, which is able to disable the American vehicles. This was announced by the head of the U.S. Space Command, General John Raymond, during the Cyber Space Conference in Maryland on Tuesday, September 21.

“Russia has a dummy satellite equipped with weapons to destroy American satellites,” Sputnik reported him as saying.

Raymond compared the device to a Russian toy because it allegedly has another satellite hidden in its casing, with space weapons inside. The general stressed that this satellite prevents the United States from using space as a platform “to multiply our capabilities.
