The U.S. ranked first in the world by number of coronavirus cases

The U.S. came out in first place in the world in terms of the number of coronaviruses infected with COVID-19, overtaking China and Italy, according to data from the American Johns Hopkins University. In the United States, 83,507 cases have been identified. The second place is occupied by China (81 782), the third by Italy (80 589).

US President Donald Trump explained the increase in the number of infected in the country with a well-functioning testing system. He specified that in the U.S., COVID-19 tests are taking “an incredible number of people”. “I’m sure it’s impossible to say who in China is being tested and who is not. …no one knows what the numbers in China are,” Mr. Trump told reporters
