The UN has allocated $60 million to fight the spread of coronavirus from the Central Emergency Response Fund. Previously, the organization has provided $15 million for this purpose, and the UN Humanitarian Plan will spend $2 billion to support the poorest countries in selected regions. Laboratory equipment for testing for viruses and medicines will be delivered to Africa and Asia. Hand washing stations will be installed in camps and villages.
