There was an earthquake off the coast of Canada

The 5.7 magnitude earthquake was detected off the west coast of Canada on Monday, December 23. This was reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake occurred at about 11:13 . The source was located at a depth of 10 km, and the epicenter was about 170 km west of the city of Port Hardy, which is home to about 5 thousand people.

No casualties or damage were reported.
