There’s a new version of the coronavirus

More than six months have passed since the coronavirus pandemic began, and scientists still do not know where this terrible disease came from. Some believe the SARS-CoV-2 was created artificially. Others believe that it has an animal origin. But so far, it’s all come together as a new virus.

And now there’s the version that SARS-CoV-2 came to us eight years ago. The Sun refers to what American scientists say. Virologist Jonathan Latham and biologist Allison Wilson found notes of a doctor from Yunnan province, dated 2012.

The doctor treated six miners who fell ill after clearing the mine of bat excrement. They all had COVID-19 symptoms. Three of them could not be saved.
