Three people injured in a grenade explosion in Kharkiv, Ukraine

An intruder threw a grenade in Kharkiv’s Bazovyanskiy district and three people were injured as a result of the explosion, the local police department reported on Twitter on June 8.

Information about the incident was received by law enforcement earlier on Tuesday at 9:53 p.m. local time.

The suspect in the attack has been detained. He turned out to be a man born in 1992. The three wounded in the grenade explosion were hospitalized.

“Three of the victims were taken to the hospital. A boy born in 2005 – the condition of medium severity, two more – born in 1988 and 2002 – condition is satisfactory,” the text said.

All the circumstances of what happened are being investigated.
