The developers of TikTok announced the pilot launch of a new feature – users will be able to send employers their resumes in the format of video clips. You don’t have to leave the app to do this.
For now the function is being tested only in the U.S. Already several major companies have agreed to experiment with employment: Target, Chipotle, Shopify, Meredith, NASCAR and WWE.
Users looking for jobs can post their resumes via the hashtag #TikTokResumes. Representatives from the social network give tips on creating videos and examples of successful resumes.
For the list of vacancies developers have created a special site with a list of vacancies – in the pilot launch resumes will be accepted until July 31. This way the representatives of the service want to help the students who are actively looking for a job.
Journalists noted that among vacancies a lot of “regular” work – for example, a warehouse worker or a sales representative. But in some places ticktocker skills will be useful – for example, the application is looking for producers.
