Trump blamed Twitter for blocking the White House spokesperson’s account

On October 14 U.S. President Donald Trump was indignant that the administration of social network Twitter blocked the account of White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnani on this platform.

Earlier that day, the New York Post wrote that the social network restricted McEnani’s access to her personal account after she shared a newspaper article containing information from confidential correspondence between Vadim Pozharsky, advisor to the management of the Ukrainian Burisma company, and Hunter Biden, son of Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden.

“I heard, I don’t know for sure, but they told me about Kayleigh McEnani. <...> They blocked her account. She is a White House spokesperson. They blocked her account because she is telling the truth,” the American president said during his speech to supporters in the state of Iowa.

On the same day, the U.S. company Facebook restricted the distribution on its platform publication New York Post, which contains information from confidential correspondence of Hunter Biden.
