President Donald Trump on Wednesday, May 27, accused The New York Times of falsifying articles and called on it to return the Pulitzer Prizes it received.
Trump said the newspaper’s articles are based on fictitious sources.

On May 5, the New York Times article on the investigation against Russian President Vladimir Putin received a Pulitzer Prize in the category “International Journalism”.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has repeatedly called the NYT false information. In particular, she described the material “Putin’s long war against American science” as a “masterpiece deuce.
