Trump commented on the evolution of COVID-19 in other countries

Donald Trump said that a number of large countries, including Russia, would get a different, less optimistic picture of the spread of coronavirus infection if people were tested as intensely as in the U.S..

The head of the White House also said that the United States has the “best and most intensive” coronavirus testing system, which explains the high number of infections reported daily in the country.

Trump added that at the moment the mortality rate from coronavirus in the U.S. is one of the lowest in the world, and recalled the effective treatment and successful work on the vaccine.

According to Johns Hopkins University, as of July 13, there are 3,336,154 detected cases of coronavirus, the number of lethal cases is 135,400.
