Trump declared his sympathy for Putin

U.S. president Donald Trump stated on the air of radio program The Rush Limbaugh Show on October 9 that he can get along with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin because he sympathizes with him.

“I can get along with Putin, I like Putin and maybe Putin likes me”, – said Trump.

Trump, however, gave assurances that the Russian leader would be “much easier to deal with” former U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton or current candidate Joe Biden. He explained that Biden is “slow and lacks the qualities needed to be president.

During the first debate, Biden called Trump the “puppy” of the Russian president. In his view, the U.S. leader cannot say anything to Putin “about rewarding American soldiers for their heads. Putin, in turn, called the insult to his American counterpart a manifestation of U.S. political culture.

The US presidential election will be held on November 3.
