Trump didn’t leave the White House for a month

U.S. President Donald Trump said that he almost never left his residence in Washington after an outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

“I was advised not to travel. I have been in the White House for a month,” the U.S. leader told reporters at a briefing April 17.

He said he had only once left the residence to participate in an event to send a 1,000-bed USS Comfort ship to New York amid a deteriorating coronavirus situation in the state.

Trump also expressed his desire to get back to his campaign as soon as possible. And the day before, he announced that the U.S. had already overcome the peak of the coronavirus outbreak.
