Trump predicted a retreat in global warming

Donald Trump said science actually knows too little about climate change, and it will simply get “cooler” in the future.

On September 14th, at a meeting with California state authorities, where powerful natural fires have been raging for weeks, Trump assured that global warming will eventually retreat on its own.

“It will start to get cooler. Just keep an eye out. I don’t think science really knows,” The Washington Post quoted him as saying.

More than 1.2 million hectares of forest are currently under fire in California. Twenty-two people are dead. The cause of fires is called climate change.

It is noteworthy that a few years ago Trump denied the danger of global warming, and also withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement.

At the World Economic Forum in Davos in January this year, Trump sharply criticized environmental activists, who act as “prophets”, predicting the death of mankind.
