US President Donald Trump will wear a protective mask during his visit to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Washington. He said this in an interview with Fox News on July 10.
“I will wear the mask when I go to the Walter Reed Center. I think that’s appropriate when I go to a medical facility. I have no problem with the mask,” said the American leader.
However, he emphasized there is no need to wear a mask because he and his entourage are regularly tested for coronavirus infection.
Trump regularly neglected to wear a mask. At the beginning of the pandemic, he stated that this attribute did not suit him in terms of status, but later advocated for such a protective measure. He noted that the mask looked like an American western hero.
