U.S. President Donald Trump said he would leave the hospital in Maryland, where he was admitted after his coronavirus was discovered on the evening of Monday, October 5. The American leader wrote about it on his Twitter page.
“I will leave the beautiful Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 p.m. ” Trump said.
The U.S. president added that he feels “better than 20 years ago,” and urged not to be afraid of COVID-19.
“I feel really good. Don’t be afraid of COVID. Don’t let it dominate your life… I feel better than 20 years ago!” – he wrote.
Trump also noted that “some really great drugs have been developed during his presidency. He did not specify which drugs he was talking about.
The American leader said on October 2 that he had COVID-19. On the same day, he was hospitalized with mild symptoms at the Walter Reed Military Medical Hospital. According to the doctors, the president is being given “Remdesivir” and his condition continues to improve.
Meanwhile, the U.S. presidential election will be held on November 3. Opponent Trump of Democratic Party Joe Biden agreed to postpone the next debate with his rival if necessary.
