Trump will send military medics to New York to fight the Coronavirus

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that 1,000 military medics will be deployed in New York City. That’s what they intend to do to fight the Coronavirus pandemic. That’s what CNBC reports. It is still unclear how and where military personnel will be used in New York, the epicenter of the pandemic in the United States.

“Now we’re getting people out of the army,” said Donald Trump at a White House briefing.

“We’re going to allocate significant additional troops to help the states. That will be thousands and thousands of troops, military doctors, professionals, nurses and doctors,” the president said, reports TASS.

New York remains the epicenter of the epidemic in the U.S. itself, with more than 50,000 confirmed cases in the city.
