The Office of Ethics of the U.S. Government on Friday, July 31, published data on the revenue of President Donald Trump for 2019. This was reported in The Wall Street Journal.
According to a 78-page financial statement, the White House chief of staff earned $21.4 million last year at the Mar-a-Lago Resort in Florida. The Washington DC hotel brought Trump $40.5 million. The Trump National Doral Miami resort generated $77.2 million in revenue, $1.3 million more than the previous year. Revenue from the golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, also increased from $15.7 million to $17.7 million.
Trump’s total revenue in 2019 was at least $446 million, the publication estimates.
The statement should have been published earlier, but due to the coronavirus pandemic the publication terms have been shifted.
During the election race in 2016 and before it Trump claimed that his fortune exceeded $10 billion. Experts have repeatedly expressed doubts on this issue, believing that the total value of his assets is much lower.
President Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, published a book July 15 where she made public his tax returns. Then, according to the American leader, his niece violated the “non-disclosure agreement”.
