U.S. Department of State gives date of withdrawal from WHO

The US State Department confirmed that the country will withdraw from the World Health Organization. Washington will gradually withdraw its representatives at the Geneva headquarters and other WHO offices. The U.S. authorities will redirect money to other UN programs.

Washington suspended funding for the World Health Organization in April this year. Then President Donald Trump said the organization may have conspired with China to hide information about the spread of SOVID-19 and its sources.

The U.S. hopes to complete the divorce from the WHO in July next year.
