U.S. listed the Russian Imperial Movement as a terrorist organization

U.S. authorities included the “Russian Imperial Movement” in the list of terrorist organizations. This was announced on Monday April 6

“This is the first time that the U.S. has recognized as a terrorist supporter of white supremacy, which confirms how serious the current administration is about this threat,” Department of State counter-terrorism coordinator Nathan Sayles told .

Such measures mean that all assets in the country will be frozen and the Americans will not be allowed to make any financial transactions with the organization. Members of the “Russian Imperial Movement” will not be allowed to enter the United States. The founders of the movement – Stanislav Vorobiev, Denis Gariyev and Nikolai Trushchalov – will receive personal status of terrorists.

“The Russian Imperial Movement is not on the unified federal list of organizations recognized as terrorist under Russian law. However, the organization’s website and several issues of its print edition are included by the Russian Ministry of Justice in the federal list of extremist materials.

On January 3, the United States added the Iraqi group Asahib Ahl al-Haq (AAH), which is affiliated with Iran, to the list of terrorist organizations. According to the State Department, the AAH is “funded and trained” by the “Al-Quds” of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, which was recognized by the U.S. as a terrorist organization in April 2019.
