The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has decided to postpone all scheduled for June matches of the national teams. This was reported on Wednesday, April 1, on the website of the organization.
“All matches of the national teams of men and women, which were to be held in June 2020, are postponed until further notice. This includes UEFA EURO 2020 playoff matches and UEFA EURO 2021 qualifying matches among women,” it was reported.
The Russian national team was to hold two friendly matches against Poland (June 2) and Serbia (June 6). Also at this time there should have been holding joint matches of the European Championship qualifying stage, which will determine the last four participants of the tournament.
At the moment, matches of the Champions League and the Europa League are postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Champions League final was to be held on 30 May in Istanbul, while the Europa League final – on 27 May in Gdansk, Poland.
