Ukrainian blogger restores first post war motorcycle of USSR

Ukrainian blogger restored the first postwar motorcycle of the USSR. The issue of “Kievlyanin” was mastered in December 1945. The motorcycle is a copy of German Wanderer Sp1 model of 1936.

The equipment was moved to Kiev Motor Plant from Germany and for three more years it was supplied with components. Totally 30 thousand copies were produced. The last “Kievan” came off the assembly line in 1951. Today there are only 5-6 such motorcycles on the move in Ukraine.
