A large truck driven by a Ukrainian driver flew into a crowd of protesters in Minneapolis, blocking the highway. None of the protesters were miraculously injured, and the perpetrator was detained without bail.
According to CNN, a native of Vinnytsia voblast, Bohdan Vechirko, was driving the truck. The footage, appearing in the Network, shows a crowd of protesters walking across the bridge at the entrance to Minneapolis. At some point, people start running in different directions because of a truck flying at them. After the truck stopped, demonstrators surrounded it and tried to get the driver out of the cab. The Department of Public Security called Vecirko’s actions “inciting a crowd of peaceful protesters”. He has been charged with assault.
