Ukrainian passenger plane crashed in Iran

Ukrainian Boeing 737 with 180 passengers on board crashed near Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran, TASNIM agency reported on January 8.

According to media reports, the plane belonged to Ukrainian Airlines and was on its way to Kiev. The aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff. Preliminary reasons for the crash are called technical malfunctions. The Tehran airport reported that there were 167 passengers on board.

Earlier it was reported that the Iranian military hit two US military bases in Iraq with ballistic missiles.
