The coronavirus pandemic may have originated from a leak from a Chinese laboratory. On Sunday, January 3, Matthew Pottinger, deputy national security adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, expressed this opinion during a Zoom conference on China with parliamentarians from various world nations.
According to him, this version is “the most credible.”
“There is growing evidence that the lab is the most likely source of the virus leak,” the Daily Mail quoted the official as saying.
As Pottinger stressed, the activities of the World Health Organization (WHO) are worth exposing and parliamentarians from different countries should get involved. According to critics, China has a great influence on the organization, which makes its objectivity negligible.
