Vivo announced the flagship X60 Pro+. The novelty is the most powerful in the line, which was introduced in late 2020. On the front, the smartphone is very similar to the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro, as it has the same 6.56-inch curved AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2376×1080 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
Compared to the other representatives of the lineup, the back cover has changed a lot, which is covered with eco-leather. The main module of the main camera features two large sensors and two smaller ones with optics from Zeiss.
The main module at 50 megapixels is the Samsung ISOCELL GN1, which is equipped with the Big Eye stabilizer with gimbal. The technology allows the sensor to move mechanically, providing smooth shooting, comparable to movie level.
Then there’s the 48MP Sony IMX598 wide-angle sensor, as well as an 8MP periscope module with a 5x optical zoom. The last sensor is 32 megapixels for portrait photography. The whole system is complemented by laser autofocus and triple LED flash.
The front camera here is 32 megapixels, it is located at the top of the screen in the center. At the bottom there is a fingerprint scanner. As the heart of the device here is the flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. RAM here in two versions – 8 and 12 GB LPDDR5, and storage – 128 and 256 GB UFS 3.1.
The smartphone runs the Android 11 operating system with the branded OriginOS shell. The battery here is 4,200 mAh with 55W fast charging support. There’s also NFC for contactless payment, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6. Sales of the X60 Pro+ will start Jan. 30 in China.
