Under the new rules all athletes will be required to use a special application for mobile devices, which will report on their well-being. And 14 days before the trip to Tokyo all athletes will be required to provide a negative result of the test for coronavirus.
In addition, athletes will be prohibited from attending competitions as spectators and from physical contact with others, including handshakes. In addition, athletes will be required to maintain a distance of two meters between themselves and keep a plan of their actions.
Recall that the Tokyo Olympic Games were to be held in 2020, but because of the pandemic coronavirus infection COVID-19 event was postponed for a year. The new date of the competition is mid-summer 2021.
