WHO predicted more than 1 million coronavirus infections in a short time

WHO Director General Tedros Hebreysus said the number of people infected with coronavirus in the world will exceed 1 million in the coming days. He made this statement Wednesday, 1 April, speaking at a conference in Geneva.

“The number of deaths has more than doubled over the past week. In the next few days, we will reach a figure of 1 million confirmed COVID-19 cases and 50,000 deaths,” said Gabreysus.
