WHO publishes report on COVID-19 study visit to China

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Tuesday, March 30, published the report of an expert visit to China to investigate the origin of the coronavirus

It is noted that the source of the coronavirus infection has still not been found and previously reported hypotheses of the origin of COVID-19 continue to be considered.

On the previous day, it was reported that Chinese scientists and WHO specialists concluded that COVID-19 could have been transmitted to humans from bats through an unknown intermediate animal – currently the most credible theory. On the same day, the researchers advised against studying the hypothesis of SARS-CoV-2 leakage from the laboratory.
