March 24, Vladimir Putin visited a hospital in the Moscow village of Kommunarka, where patients with suspected coronavirus are kept. According to the press service of the Russian president, Putin dressed in a special protective suit to examine the hospital.
“The decision was made in person. He went without preparation and without any security measures,” press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists about his chief’s visit. According to him, security measures were taken only during the passage of the motorcade.
According to the telegram channel “Kremlin Pool RIA,” Putin was wearing a Dupont Tychem C overalls with a hood and a full-face mask.

As of the morning of March 24, the hospital had 412 patients, 156 of whom were diagnosed with pneumonia and 56 were treated for a new coronavirus infection. In the past 24 hours, 70 patients have been discharged from the medical center. A total of 290 cases of infection were registered in Moscow and 495 throughout Russia.
